Tour in Chianti countryside with lunch
Last summer, when the weather used to be sunny and warming, I drove a group of American students for a Tuscan countryside tour. We met at 09.00 a.m. at Biblioteca Nazionale (near Piazza Santa Croce, Florence) and left the city toward the amazing Chianti countryside!
I stopped in several places along the street which have the most wonderful views on Tuscan hills. Furthermore, I stopped when the guys wanted to take pictures or buy some typical Tuscan products.
We went through Ugolino, Impruneta, Strada in Chianti and Panzano
Then, around 13.00 pm, we arrived at Cecchini’s Restaurant. This place is an ancient butcher shop, recently become famous worldwide also thanks to Netflix programme “Chef’s Table” (6th edition). Here, the guys sat at Dario Cecchini’s lunch table, tasting several types of cooked meat and, specifically, the typical Florence meat, the “Bistecca Fiorentina”, while enjoying Dario’s and his team warmth and friendliness!
My guests really appreciated this tour which embraces the real Tuscan essence: stunning landscape, fabulous food and genuine people!
This group booked its own trip one week in advance according to their needs and interests. Specifically, these guys choose a minivan for 8 people, requiring a private driver for the whole day
Make your private own tour: choose the car and the driver!
The cars used are only Mercedes sedans or minibuses with for 8 people.
You may also hire a private shuttle service. The driver may remain at your disposal on site for all the time you need!
